Short answer: I only share what I’m allowed to share! All of the photos you see on my website and social media are ones that I was given full permission to share!
Each of the ladies you see is just another beautiful soul who also had nerves about their shoot. Who also wrestled with the idea of even booking it. Who also may have had thoughts about just canceling and forgetting the whole thing.
But each of them also loved their photos so much that they decided the world needed to see them!
There are a few people I don’t recommend allow sharing of their photos though. If you fall into any of these categories, please don’t feel bad about saying no:
Your job would fire you. Please don’t lose your livelihood over this. I mean, unless you were looking for a way out of your job, then hell yeah let’s do it!
You’re in a dangerous relationship with a controlling person who would likely harm you for it. Please get out when you can but until then, let’s not test it.
Your family and friends would shun you. This should absolutely not be a thing, but it is an unfortunate fact of our society. Some people think violence being available for viewing at every turn is fine but the human body being embraced by its wearer is the end of the world. Backwards, isn’t it?
Notice I didn’t say anything about your body needing to look a certain way. I firmly believe that all body types and skin tones and gender expressions deserve to be represented.
The vast majority of us do not fit into the societal “standard” of beauty. It’s important that those who look like us can see us embracing our bodies. So, I encourage anyone who felt beautiful to allow their photos to be shared.
