Every client who comes in to my studio has a story. We’re all shaped by our experiences in life and there are a million ways that can manifest. Mia has been a client (and a friend) for years. Here’s her boudoir story:
Initially, when I considered doing a boudoir photo shoot, I thought: “I am out of my mind. Why would i do this?” I was plus sized at the time, and Shawna assured me that I was perfect as I was.
Well that was many years ago and many shoots ago. You've probably seen my face and butt more times than you'd expect. But, after each shoot my confidence is high and I become that girl!
From the start of just talking outfits all the way to the actual day she helped and talked me through it and each time I've stepped into her studio it's like visiting a close friend.
The way she makes god awful jokes to get you to laugh so it's not all serious all the time will melt any mental blocks holding you back.
I've done the rain room and when it was available under the sheet set. Honestly the rain room is a 10/10 and the most fun setting for a photo shoot I’ve ever done! You get to live out either your Magic Mike moment, spinning around on your butt, or dance revolution fantasies.
She has never hesitated to laugh with me or demonstrate a pose for me (which is wildly entertaining, she groans like an old lady). I will always recommend her. Plus she makes you look tan! Like, what a big plus for this girl who burns in the moonlight!
