What Really Happens During a Luxury Boudoir Session?

When you’ve never done something before, it can be hard to overcome the anxiety that comes with it.

If you’ve never flown on an airplane before, your brain might convince you that it will certainly crash and you will definitely die.

If you’ve never gone snorkeling in the ocean before, your brain might convince you that you will drown or get eaten by a shark.

If you’ve never had a boudoir session before, your brain might spiral you into believing you’re going to look awful, the photographer is going to laugh at you, and everyone is going to see the photos and think terrible things about you.

Unfortunately, our brains can be assholes sometimes.

I can assure you, the only laughing that will be happening during your session with me is you laughing at my ridiculousness.

No one is going to see these photos unless you want them to. You’ll actually have to sign a release if you want to allow them to be seen.

The most important point: you’re going to look beautiful. This experience has been carefully curated to take as much of the pressure off of you as possible. Without pressure, you’ll feel more comfortable, which will absolutely show in your facial expressions and body language.

We help you pick the perfect outfits. We style your hair and slay your makeup. We chat like we’re old friends.

When it comes time to take the photos, I’ll tell you exactly how to pose. If my words don’t make sense (which they often don’t), then I’ll show you instead!

You’ll change outfits a few times, but we’ll always start in the outfit you feel most comfortable in. A dip your toes in kind of situation.
